BV Foot Clinic: We Help Keep Diabetics' Feet in Tip-Top Condition

We Help Keep Diabetics’ Feet in Tip-Top Condition

Diabetics must constantly monitor their health, and address any issues promptly, as the disease will jump at any chance to attack the body. While it can affect any area, it commonly targets the feet, as it restricts circulation to the extremities, preventing proper healing, so even small cuts may become infected. It can also lead to diabetic ulcers or neuropathy, which often damages nerves, causing burning, tingling,  numbness, and worse.

If you’re having such problems, come see us. As diabetic foot care experts, we have several advanced, in-office treatments that can relieve your pain, improve your condition, and stave off further complications, to help keep your feet in tip-top form.

BV Foot Clinic: Get Your Bunions Over Here!

                                                                      Get Your Bunions Over Here!

Bunions affect women more often than men, because, though heredity can be a factor, wearing high heels with narrow toes is a bigger trigger. A painful bump at the base of the big toe, a bunion can become irritated or callused. If you notice one forming, try wearing wide-toed shoes, with lower heels; but if pain persists, or redness, swelling, or signs of infection occur, call us right away. Our effective treatments can relieve your pain; but it’s also important to start them in time to avoid surgery – so get your bunions over here!

BV Foot Clinic: Stepping Into Flip-Flops Can Be Walking Into Trouble

Stepping Into Flip-Flops Can Be Walking Into Trouble

As foot care professionals, we let people know when there’s trouble afoot; and if you wear flip-flops, you could be walking right into it! Indeed, as you’re a mere, uh, step away from being barefoot, you’re likely to sustain cuts, splinters, or puncture wounds on your feet. Moreover, since those virtually uncovered feet often pick up dirt that contains bacteria and/or fungus, you’re even more susceptible to skin irritations, infections, athlete’s foot, plantar warts, and much worse.

Of course, we know that all of the warnings in the world won’t keep flip-flop fans from their favorite footwear. So, if you routinely step into a pair each morning, at least try to watch what you step into for the rest of the day!
