BV Foot Clinic: ESWT Lets You Kick Up Your Heels

ESWT Lets You Kick Up Your Heels

If you've recently noticed heel pain developing, or worsening, you may think the extra holiday activity is to blame. Perhaps; but it may be plantar fasciitis. Caused by the straining or inflammation of the ligament connecting the heel bone to the toes, it can be downright debilitating; yet, it’s one of the easiest for us to treat. In fact, our painless, half-hour Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is so effective that, rather than sitting on the sidelines, you’ll be kicking up your heels in the New Year.

BV Foot Clinic: You'll Be There With Bells On!

You'll Be There With Bells On!

Ultra-high heels can cause more foot problems than usual during the holidays. One reason for this is that there are more events where women dress to the hilt, literally, wearing the highest heels available. This can speed the development of nascent bunions, hammertoes, corns, or calluses in regular stiletto-wearers. Then, for those who aren’t used to 5” heels, the “hilt” can make them tilt, which leads to many a sprained ankle. In any case, though, such shoes are invariably painful; and that can ruin a good time.

Remember, there are lots of stunning, stylish lower-heeled shoes that won’t kill your feet. So, any time you’re invited to a party, you can be there with bells on!
