BV Foot Clinic: Corns Can Become a Growing Problem

Corns Can Become a Growing Problem

Corn grows abundantly at this time of year; and not just in fields. Many people develop corns on their feet in the summer, partly because they’re usually more active, and often run, walk, or play in inappropriate shoes. As the shoes continue to rub against the toes, the skin thickens into corns. While not too serious, left untreated, they'll get larger and more painful, leading to more friction, and more corns. So don’t let this advice go in one ear and out the other - have your corns removed before they become a growing problem.

We'll Soon Have You Back in Good Standing

If you’re among those to whom the words, plantar fasciitis, mean nothing, you’re fortunate. A common affliction, triggered by the straining of the plantar fascia, a ligament-like band stretching from the heel to the ball of the foot, it causes millions of people to hobble around in pain every day.

These days, though, even if you do suffer from plantar fasciitis, you can still consider yourself lucky. That’s because, in just about a half-hour, our  advanced Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) will have you back in good standing among the well-heeled.
