As
you’re out doing all of your running around this season, don’t forget to be
kind to your feet. One way to do that is to stay away from stilettos; and if
you must wear them, try to reserve them for
special occasions. Besides triggering corns, calluses, bunions, ingrown
toenails, and hammertoes, they can also cause ankle sprains and breaks, stress
fractures, tendinitis, ligament damage, and other foot problems.
So,
for the sake of your feet, give them a break once in awhile, and wear shoes with sensible
heels so you can enjoy the holidays, pain-free, whether you’re shopping, caroling,
going to parties, or just standing under the mistletoe.
