Take a Break, Prevent a Fracture
You may be ready to get back to strenuous outdoor workouts, sports, and - with everything blooming so quickly - seemingly endless yard work; but, if you’ve
been sedentary for awhile, start out slowly. Sudden, intense activity
can cause stress fractures of your delicate foot bones. So, if you're experiencing foot
pain that intensifies while you walk, but eases when you rest, call us; and even if the lawn is springing
up faster than you can mow it, remember that it’s better to take an occasional,
short break, than to get a fracture. Just don't worry about letting a
little grass grow under your feet, because, if you get a foot injury, your rest
period will be a lot longer – and so will your grass.
