Keep Winter Corns from Cropping Up
With
summer slipping away, it seems that the time for cultivating corn has passed;
but many people grow their own in the cold months. It happens when they switch back to heavy footwear, as socks’ seams, or tight
shoes, consistently rubbing against the toes, can cause corns to develop. Although not generally
serious, they are often painful; and, with continued friction, may even become infected,
which can be dangerous, especially for diabetics.
Certainly, we can easily remove corns. However, by wearing seamless socks, making
sure that shoes fit properly, and wearing slippers around the house, you can
keep corns from cropping up this winter.
