BV Foot Clinic: Don't Let a Tendon-cy for Procrastination be Your Achilles' Heel

Don’t Let a Tendon-cy for Procrastination be Your Achilles’ Heel

Another common foot-related ailment is Achilles tendinitis. Often triggered by frequent workouts that strain, or inflame, the tendon, which connects the heel bone to the calf muscles, it causes pain, stiffness, and/or swelling. If you have these indications, which are usually worse in the morning, and after exercise, icing the area for 20 minutes, several times per day, and taking a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory, OTC pain reliever, such as ibuprofen, can help.

However, if symptoms persist, let us devise a customized treatment that will have you up and running like new again. But call us right away, because delaying treatment can allow the condition to degenerate; and you don’t want to let procrastination be your Achilles’ heel!
