Stress Fractures Aren't Just For Athletes
Stress fractures are often
linked to athletes and others who routinely engage in
intense physical activity. However, as the fractures are caused by repeated overuse, those whose
jobs keep them on their feet, especially on hard or uneven surfaces, are
also at risk, particularly if they’re overweight or have osteoporosis. If
you have symptoms of a stress fracture, such as pain that eases when you rest,
but returns with activity, or bruising or swelling on the top of your foot,
below your toes, call us for the most effective
treatment available.
